Elegy

There are at least four artists with the name Elegy: 1. Elegy are a / band from the Netherlands. They formed in 1986. 2. Elegy were a supposedly German Krautrock Band which were actually from Britain but were pretty much based full-time in Austria. They released the single "No Direction / Pain" in early 1971 which was recorded at the studios of Peter Mueller, Vienna. The A-Side "No Direction" was compiled on "Kraut! Demons! Kraut! Vol. 1 German Psychedelic Underground 1968-1974".

There are two artists with this name:
1. A Dutch indie rock band
2. An Australian rock band 1. The Medics are an indie band which formed in Utrecht, The Netherlands in 2008. Along the way, The Medics have been labeled as 'Morrissey on speed', but gain also heavy influences from bands like The Strokes, Vampire Weekend and The Killers. Early 2009 The Medics released a three song EP. In October 2010 The Medics released the first single called City. Their debut album Dance Into The Dark with the same titled single Dance into the dark has been be released at the end of august 2011.

Gin Wigmore

Virginia "Gin" Wigmore is a New Zealand singer/songwriter who was born in Auckland, New Zealand, where she spent most of her childhood. However, while in Argentina at age 16 her father died of cancer. Upon her return to New Zealand, she articulated in song, the pain of losing her father. One of those early penned songs, “Hallelujah”, won the US-based International Songwriting Competition in 2004[2], when she beat 11,000 songwriting aspirants from 77 countries to become the youngest and only unsigned Grand Prize winner in the history of the ISC.

Ophidian

1) Ophidian is Conrad Hoyer, a hardcore producer from Gelderland, Netherlands. Using keyboards and cassette recorders Conrad Hoyer started recording his first songs and mixes in 1993, 11 years old (born september first 1981) at the time. By 1995 hardcore music had become very infuential for the Dutch youth and he started using computer software to write hardcore songs. With the artists of the Ruffneck label as main lead he worked on perfecting his technique, specialising in fast, breakbeat-orriented juno-sound hardcore.

Gargantuan

There are two bands by this name: 1. Death metal band from Enniskillen N. Ireland.
2. Progressive Death Metal band from Amsterdam, The Nertherlands . (2010-present) (vote for picture) Info Gargantuan (second / #2.): First hitting the stage in 2010, Gargantuan has had a long time writing and rehearsing their material, and this shows!! At the end of 2008 the band was formed by Thalys, Corvus and Violence Jack with the idea of combining older with newer styles of metal.

Richard Rijnvos

According to many, Richard Rijnvos is one of the leading composers in the Netherlands of the "post-Andriessen" generation. Born in 1964, he studied composition with Jan van Vlijmen and Brian Ferneyhough at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and followed a postgraduate at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg (Germany). In the period 1986-92 he came in touch with the American composers Morton Feldman and John Cage, who caused crucial changes in his development.

Neophyte

Neophyte is an influential and well-known hardcore, or gabber, group formed in 1992 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The four original members, Jeroen Streunding (DJ Neophyte), Danny Greten, Jarno Butter and Robin van Roon, were signed to DJ Paul Elstak's Rotterdam Records. Robin later left Neophyte. Neophyte recently released a compilation album dedicated to their 13 years of existence titled '13 Jaar Terreur' In April 2006 they released a new album, called 'Rech Toe Rech Taan'.

Sungrazer

This Dutch 3 piece delivers what can only be described as mammoth walls of mountainous fuzz. Picture the mighty Kyuss rejoined after a 15 year hiatus! Somehow Sungrazer have been moulded to the very roots of stoner/desert rock a venture that has so often been tried and time and time again never succeeded. Sungrazer are perfect example of how good music can sound when 3 musicians work in unison and collaborate as a whole. Band Members
