London Gay Men's Chorus

Founded in 1991 by a group of six gay men, the London Gay Men’s Chorus is now, with around 190 singing members and over 230 members in total, Europe’s largest and best known gay chorus. After lowly beginnings in 1991 at Angel Underground station (where the station had to be closed due to the crowd that had gathered), the Chorus has performed around the UK and toured overseas in the United States, France, Italy, Canada, Ireland, Spain and Australia.

Paul Mosley

As half of cult alt-folk heroes MOSES Paul has been playlisted on BBC radios 2 & 6Music, had rave reviews in NME, Q, Time Out & more and wowed gig goers everywhere from Glastonbury to an Amsterdam brothel, touring with everyone from Shane MacGowan, Mistys Big Adventure, Sam Brown, It’s Jo & Danny & loads more. After 2 and half Moses albums and various EPs on tiny High Barn records, Paul spent the last year recording 2 ‘Solo’ albums with amazing harpist TOM MOTH (Bjork/Lunamoth) and violinist/Bassist JOE PEET (Cousteau).

Hunx and his Punx

A visual cross between the leather bondage movie “Cruising” and the raunchy retro-fuelled imagery of early John Waters movies like “Desperate Living,” San Francisco’s Hunx and his Punx (one of whom is Justin “Nobunny” & another of former Gravy Train!!!!) have injected humor, imagination and fun into their prodigious multimedia output, which includes records and videos. Hunx’s bouncy pop sound is equally cool, melding ‘60s-based bubblegum pop sensibilities with DIY garage prowess for a sticky-sweet aural assault.

i said yes

’i said yes’ find themselves occasionally dispersed and occasionally in the same place, sharing a love of all things musical and some things poetic. The recent discovery of a long-forgotten accordion and several encounters with a tambourine, a glockenspiel, a viola and a melodica have helped ’i said yes’ to confront the fact that perhaps, they aspire to write songs which embody the spirit of indie folk. But then again, perhaps they just play what comes out. ’and then we danced…’ is a collection of some of these songs, a record of the times when i said yes were in the same place.
