The Coathangers are a rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. They are: The Crook Kid Coathanger: Vocals, guitar, tamborine; Minnie Coathanger: Vocals, bass, tamborine; Rusty Coathanger: Vocals, drums; Bebe Coathanger: Vocals, keys. The band formed in 2006 as a joke, played a house show and were asked to open for The Hiss on the strength of their performance. The name was chosen for its vulgarity - an irreverent take on abortions - though all band members are pro-choice.
There are several artists using this name: Red (USA) (often typeset as R3D) is an American alternative band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004. Musically influenced by artists such as Linkin Park, Chevelle, and Muse, Red's style is the rare symphonic rock which blends guitars and strings with passionate vocals. The songs on End of Silence deconstruct struggles that listeners face, while painting a picture of redemption in the midst of brokenness. According to lead vocalist Mike Barnes, Red stands for the blood of Christ and what it represents: passion, pain, but ultimately, redemption.

There are 2 (two) Junkos: 1. 'Junko' is the solo nome de plume for Junko Hiroshige, who is also vocalist/instrumentalist for the seminal Japanese noise band Hijokaidan. Junko's solo and collaborative work is characterised by her distinctive high pitched, screaming voice. Junko has released a handful of records under her own name. These include Sleeping Beauty (2002), a solo project that showcases Junko's voice a cappella, with no accompanying instrumentation.
