Johnny Collins

Johnny Collins (born May 10, 1938) is a London-based folk singer specializing in traditional maritime music. Joined the British Army in 1956, where he learned to play the guitar while posted in London. Was posted to Singapore in 1959 where he began performing in bars and cabarets in his off hours. Was posted to Hong Kong in 1965 where he began performing large concerts with other folk performers in the British and U.S. military.

Great Big Sea

Great Big Sea (often shortened to GBS) is a Canadian folk-rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs. The band also performs original material. On March 11, 2010, Great Big Sea celebrated their seventeenth birthday as a band. And like almost every one of their many anniversaries spent together, they celebrated it by playing a concert, this one in Omaha, Nebraska.

Molly

There are at least two bands by the name Molly. The first, doesn't exist anymore, but they were a great Swedish band playing something along the lines of; old irish rebel songs, ska, punk & folk. The second was a power pop band from Grand Rapids, Michigan most recently releasing an album entitled "The Finger" on Idol Records and prior to that the album "SeXXX Sells" on Sid Flips Records and a self-titled, self-released EP.

Poles Apart

Poles Apart were a alternative rock outfit from Cairns, Australia.The band formed in May 2005 from a result of boredom musical fustration and the need of a creative outlet.There was however, a problem.None of the 3 had much experience in playing instrments. So, with some help, they started experimenting. Michiel was in a previous band in Sydney which only lasted a couple of months. He placed himself firmly on the guitar. Tom always has a thing for the bass, he had a bass guitar given to him for a birthday, and since then has always been enchanted by how it fits into the musical landscape.
