The Yossarians

The Yossarians are a blues/folk/surf band based around Manchester. Tim Schiazza fronts the band although they tend to have no specific line up, in which they always receive help from friends in certain aspects of their music. After recently releasing their debut album, The Yossarians refuse to release it on any downloading format. Instead, they have decided to release the album on CD and vinyl only with a limited amount of copies available.

Johnny Collins

Johnny Collins (born May 10, 1938) is a London-based folk singer specializing in traditional maritime music. Joined the British Army in 1956, where he learned to play the guitar while posted in London. Was posted to Singapore in 1959 where he began performing in bars and cabarets in his off hours. Was posted to Hong Kong in 1965 where he began performing large concerts with other folk performers in the British and U.S. military.

Great Big Sea

Great Big Sea (often shortened to GBS) is a Canadian folk-rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs. The band also performs original material. On March 11, 2010, Great Big Sea celebrated their seventeenth birthday as a band. And like almost every one of their many anniversaries spent together, they celebrated it by playing a concert, this one in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dave Webber & Anni Fentiman

Dave and Anni joined forces in 1985, after spending many years around the folk club scene, in which time they featured on several albums made by other performers. Although Dave and Anni perform substantially at home in England, as well as in Wales and Scotland. They also make at least one trip each year to the United States, where they have an established following and have also performed in Holland, Denmark and Finland.
