The band was born in Sulmona (Italy) in February, 2003. The KeeN sound is a mix of melodies, aggressiveness, involving rhythms and electronic samplings. On August 23rd 2003 KeeN released their first self-produced EP "Love With Bile" preceeded by the introduction single (self-produced) "Nailing Keen" that the band released in April 2003 and delivered to Marilyn Manson on April 8th 2003. In Extremo is one of the most famous folk metal bands, originating from Berlin, Germany in 1995. The band's musical style combines heavy metal with medieval traditional songs, blending the sound of the standard metal instruments with traditional instruments such as the bagpipes, harp, hurdy-gurdy and shawm. Versions of well-known traditional/medieval ballads make up the main part of their repertoire, though over the years the band has also begun to write some original material using the German language.

Faith and the Muse, formed in 1993, are vocalist and songwriter Monica Richards (formerly of Strange Boutique and the mid-80s Washington DC punk band Madhouse) and William Faith (formerly of Christian Death and Shadow Project). The duo draws from a wide array of styles: gothic rock, ethereal, Celtic, post-punk, and even jazz. Neo-pagan and Celtic mythology influences much of their lyrical content. Lisa Gerrard (born April 12, 1961) is an Irish-Australian musician, singer and composer who gained international renown as part of the music group Dead Can Dance together with Brendan Perry. Her career spans from 1981 to the present, and she has been involved in a wide range of projects. Gerrard received a Golden Globe award and her score for the 2000 film Gladiator received an Academy Award nomination. She both sings and is instrumentalist for much of her work, most prolifically using the yangqin (a Chinese hammered dulcimer).
