There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Blackout are a band formed in 2003 in South Wales and drawing influences from across the board, they combine heavy crunching guitars, riffs, screams and thunderous drumbeats with beautiful melody and emotional driven vocals. The band has played shows in and around the UK with the likes of Lostprophets, Funeral for a Friend, Fightstar, Avenged Sevenfold, Dredg, 18 Visions, Thrice and Hidden in Plain View as well as opening up 'Give It A Name Festival' in April 2006.

Asking Alexandria is a British five-piece post-hardcore band from York, England who reformed with only one founding member in 2008, after originally working under the name in Dubai, UAE from 2003 to 2007.
They are currently touring the United States on the Almost Homeless Tour with Evergreen Terrace, For the Fallen Dreams and Unholy in support of their debut album Stand Up And Scream, which was released on September 15, 2009 through Sumerian Records.
