Brutal Death Metal

Daysend

Having taken their wares across the vast span of North America, New Zealand and Australia Daysend have fused an array of musical genres to create a hard edged yet melodic metal sound. The explosive Sydney five piece rocketed into existence in 2003 with all the passion and determination that has propelled them to the very top of their country's heavy music scene. Later that year the band released their debut album, 'Severance' which was voted by listeners of high rating radio station Triple J as Number One Australian Metal Album of that same year.

Hate Eternal is a death metal band from Florida, United States. They were formed in 1997, while founder/frontman Erik Rutan was touring and recording as guitarist for death metal legends, Morbid Angel. In 2002, drummer Derek Roddy (formerly of Nile, Divine Empire, and Malevolent Creation) replaced Tim Yeung, and the band set forth to record their second album, King of All Kings as a trio with Erik, Jared and Derek.

The Sickening

2003: - The Sickening was founded by guitarist Markspist (ex-Slagmark) & drummer Beist (ex-Slagmark, ex- Blood Red Throne). They got some other members to complete the band: Stig (Violated, ex-Slagmark), Hans (Violated) & Ola Langli (Panzerskrekk).

Bloodbath

There are three bands that share this name: #1.
Critically acclaimed as a "superstar line-up" of death metal, the band is the brainchild of Anders Nyström (Katatonia, Diabolical Masquerade), Jonas Renkse (Katatonia, October Tide), Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, and many more), and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth). The whole project was the upshot of one rip-roaring night, intended to reinvent old school death metal.
