POLYSICS

POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits.

ONE OK ROCK

ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese Rock band formed in the summer of 2005. It was started by Toru with High School friends Alex and Ryota after each of them got their musical instruments. After that, Taka joined as their vocalist and they focused on performing shows in the Tokyo area. In 2006 they independently released 2 mini albums. Because of their albums sales, their participation in relatively large festivals that summer and their energetic shows in the outskirts of Tokyo, they were noticed by a foreign record company.

Winnie

Winnie is an indie Japanese band formed in 2002. They released their first demo in the same year. In 2003 they released their first mini-album first class speed of light. While they continued to perform live they did not release their second mini-album The Darkest Eternal Lights until 2008. winnie's music is a more pop/rock inspired with all of it being sung in mostly understandable English. And mix the vocals between female member Iori and male member Okuji.

There are at least four artists named Erika. 1) Erika De Bonis is an Italian dance singer better known for her popular song I Don't Know. Erika's first releases were under the label of Rossano Prini A&R SPY records. The young Italian artist became famous when she released the song Relations. This track jumped to No. 1 on all Italian charts in the first half of 2001. Erika released some other tracks that became very popular in dance clubs: Right or Wrong and Ditto. KOKIA

KOKIA (born 22 July 1976, real name Yoshida Akiko (吉田亜紀子) is a Japanese singer. She was a very musical child and learned the violin. During her stay at a music university in the USA, she started to learn the piano, whilst perfecting her English. When KOKIA returned home, she was accepted into the Toho Gakuen, the most prestigious musical school in Japan. She majored in opera, as this style showed off her voice to its full potential.

Vamps

There are at least 2 bands/artists with the name Vamps. 1) VAMPS is a Japanese rock unit by Hyde (lead vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (guitarist of Oblivion Dust, hide with Spread Beaver and Spin Aqua). HYDE and K.A.Z have been working together since HYDE's third solo album FAITH, which was released in 2006. In early spring 2008, they announced the name-change for HYDE's solo project - and officially formed a band. One of the reasons being to give more credit to K.A.Z for his work. Thus VAMPS was born.
