The emergence of Queens English from the dark corners of the UK underground signifies a renaissance for DIY Hip Hop.
Formed by MC's Sherlock, Leon Rhymes and Mr Chips, whilst at Leeds University in 2004, the student veterans of 'Cowboy Tactics' were soon joined by the vocalist Source and under the watchful gaze of Hip Hop stalwart DJ's Fly Si,Swoosh, Biscuits and Ill Phil, QE matured their sound during intense writing sessions and even more intense party missions.

Ugly Heroes is a hip-hop group that consists of Apollo Brown, Red Pill, and Verbal Kent. Ugly Heroes released their self-titled debut album, on May 28, 2013, via Mello Music Group. An Ugly Hero is considered a myth. Growing up, the heroes we saw in cartoons and movies were perfectly chiseled, intelligent, and had senses none of us possess. An UGLY HERO is the everyday blue collar individual that makes the world go 'round. These are the heroes that work hard all day, everyday to help ensure that the lives around them are taken care of, and do it all without recognition.

Born in 1988 in Fresno, California, Fashawn grew up in a virtually parentless home. His father was incarcerated, while his mom was focused on feeding her drug addiction - a combination that caused a boy to become a man quicker than most. Placed in a group home by child services at the age of 12, Fashawn found solace in music, and began writing rhymes to escape the less than desirable hand he had been dealt so early in life.

Edan (born Edan Portnoy) is an independent emcee, DJ and producer based in Boston, USA. He is a former member of the band Fiber 2001 and is known for his eclectic mix of classic mid-80s till early 90s hip-hop with 60s rock, funk and other styles. His mix-tape "Sound of the Funky Drummer" collects hip hop tracks sampling James Brown's "Funky Drummer", which has been called the most-sampled record of all time.
