Ailie Robertson

Ailie Robertson is a musician in the broadest sense: composer, arranger, teacher, improviser and harp virtuoso. “Her synthesis of Irish, Scottish and contemporary harping technique into an individual style represents the realization of otherwise unimagined possibilities for the Celtic harp” (Niall Keegan, 2006). Although just 24 years old, she already has some of the most impressive credentials in the Scottish harp world.

Artist Type:

Jadis

Jadis is formed in 1982 in Southampton by Gary Chandler on vocals and guitar, Les "Ledge" Marshall on guitar (ex Lens), Trevor Dawkins on bass and Mark Ridout on drums (ex Lens). Marshall joins IQ in the late 1989, before he dies in August 1990 which brings the IQ members to put the band on hold for nearly two years. So from the start of Jadis it is already clear they have a tight connection with IQ, also since for quite a long period Chandler is the guitar roadie of IQ.
