Cut Chemist

Cut Chemist is the performing name of Lucas MacFadden, a solo turntablist. He is a former member of the funk Latin band Ozomatli, and of the underground rap group Jurassic 5. He became known through the Los Angeles-based rap group Unity Committee, and debuted on vinyl on the B-Side of Unity Committee's 1993 single, Unified Rebelution. The track, "Lesson 4: The Radio" was an ovation of Double Dee and Steinski's seminal hip-hop masterpieces, "Lessons 1-3."

There are at least 2 artists called 'DJ Shine'. 1) Canadian Jason "DJ SHINE" Spanu
2) A famous ex-Drunken Tiger member, Korean 'DJ SHINE' 1. The one with the spikiest hair is Canada's Jason "DJ Shine" Spanu, one of the top producers and hardest workers in the electronic music scene since the early 90's. Jason has been a touring member of the Nelly Furtado band for a number of years as well as part of the Saukrates live show, and has performed at some of the worlds largest stadiums and festivals. In March 2010 Jason also joined the DRAKE band as official programmer.

Alex Metric

Size matters, and by any standard of measurement, Alex Metric's talent is large, as made clear by the release of his new debut artist e.p. Whatshewants. At just 26 years of age, Marine Parade's newest signing has made a big splash as both DJ and producer. He's played gigs spanning the globe from Fabric in London to Eastern European festivals to Los Angeles clubs, and developed a significant rep for his work in the studio assisting superstars ranging from Adam Freeland to Darren Emerson.

Fatback Band

The Fatback Band (later, simply Fatback) is an American funk and disco band. Most popular in the 1970s and 1980s, The Fatback Band is most known for their Top Ten R&B hits, "(Do The) Spanish Hustle", "I Like Girls", "Gotta Get My Hands on Some (Money)", and "Backstrokin'". Their 1979 single "King Tim III (Personality Jock)" is sometimes considered the first hip hop single.
