Salvage My Dream

"Fisher, who also plays in a band called Violent Sky And The Lightning Kite, has been working at this music for quite some time. You can tell." - Unlikely Stories "A breathtaking voice, likened to that of the late, great, Elliott Smith. Yet also harnessing the same menacing lo-fi feel of Sonic Youth" - Rhubarb Bomb "There’s no denying his high-living, but the question does remain: was ‘drinking champagne in the back of a transit’ and ingesting a ‘million different chemicals’ worth it for this resulting E.P? The answer is a resounding yes." - Jay Lawrance

I Concur

I Concur formed in Leeds at the tail end of 2006 thanks to a shared love of American indie, slowcore and post rock - bands such as The National, Low, Wilco and Mogwai feature high on their list of influences. Comprised of Tim Hann (vocals/guitar), James Brunger (drums/vocals), Toby Page (bass) and Chris Woolford (guitar), the band’s first practices created a set of songs based on Hann’s abstract style of story telling.

The Wailingest Cats

"The Wailingest Cats live in the rising smoke from a cigarette parked under the rods of a Selmer Mark IV during a saxophone solo. They ride a fingersnap on the offbeat. They clap only in triplets. They have a great ear and a great eye and a greater instinct. They have an understated state of grace that doesn’t necessarily wish the world well. They’re here to gas the populace, Jack." From out of nowhere and everywhere comes a very cinematic shake down of rockin' ramshackle, doom-jazz hell-bebop. Hard, angular guitars, hip rhythms, crushing keys and sax are deployed with beautific decorum.

Man Made Origin

In September 2008, three men met at the Dundee University Bands society and got together to jam some face shattering black metal with a shovel full of progression. Max, Dave and Andy proudly destroyed the atmosphere at the puny DUBS meeting and decided to get together to write some ear abusing Progressive Black Metal. They named themselves Man Made Origin. After some searching, trying out and failing, they finally recruited the mighty Dan Hughes! To help them out on those low frequencies.
