There are two bands named Itch: 1) a Yorkshire-based four piece band
2) a Vancouver-based band founded by songwriter/pianist Mark Critchley. ________________________
1) Itch, like so many before them, know what it is to be a struggling band. Having poured themselves into their music for 5 years now, despite the hardships of countless gigs and little recognition they remain eager and fresh-faced youngsters with ambition in their sights and fire in their hearts.

The Light Streams formed through 2008 through a series of late night conversations and suggestion, each member being invited into the fray well into the night, the band then sought to seek a daytime arrangement that worked as well. Towards the end of the year demos were made and in early 2009 dates were set to go put them down properly, the band was launched upon hearing the record back. Brought together through a camaraderie, an odd sense of humour and a love of a cross of music that sways between psychedelia, pop, rock and roll and back again.

Leeds-based Grammatics formed in April 2006 with best friends Owen Brinley and Dominic Ord deciding to form a band after the demise of Owen's previous band Colour of Fire. The line-up was pieced together with the addition of Rebecca Dumican and Rory O'Hara and Michael Repeat. They spent the next few months writing and rewriting songs. Perfectionists to the last, the band waited until that October to begin playing live.

A man once said, "music is the food of love". Stuart and Tom like music, food, and love, and have attempted to express this through the medium of song. In January 2008, after much dawdling, pissing about, and periods of unemployment, they went into the studio with two other real life people. They are called Jim and Dave. The recording went splendidly and a band/fellowship was formed. Since joining Myspace, Tom and Stu have started to write in the third person, which appears to be the norm, but sounds stupid.
