Don Byron

Don Byron (b.1958) is a U.S. composer and clarinettist. While he is considered a jazz musician, he is stylistically very adventurous, having recorded klezmer music, German lieder, and cartoon music. Byron was born on 8th November 1958 in the Bronx, New York City and was raised by his parents who were themselves musicians, his mother a pianist; his father a bass player for calypso bands. His parents raised him listening to all kinds of music, taking him on trips to the ballet and the symphony, and also exposing him to jazz such as Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis records.

Fear Like Us

Spawning from the cesspools of Newcastle, Fear Like Us was originally formed as a two-piece back in 04. They recorded a demo back then, and soon Jamie Hay and Kim Wall were joined by Babs on bass. A demo came out in 05, a split with another Newcastle band Scarlet Fever. With both demos unavailable now, it's hard to get your hands on some of these old recordings. Towards the end of 2006, Joel joined the band on drums, which added a more fuller sound for an ever-increasing in popularity band.

Ever Since

Founded in 1998 on the smoking ashes of « Sacrement », Ever Since has created its own style of music :
Melodic Dark Metal
This style is half way between black metal and heavy metal, accompagnied by keyboards and dark voice, that will lift you thourgh different dark and tourmented atmosphere. In june 2001 Ever Since recorded the first album called “Into a reign of pain”. First album and first big experience because it was recorded live during four different concerts. Sold over 500 copies it was a huge hit according to specialized media.

Stylus Rex

With a background playing live drums for bands coupled with studio sessions with producers like Youth (Killing Joke), JDS, Adam F, & Dan Carey (Kylie)....Stylus Rex is hooked on beat construction & production. He emerged on the Breaks scene in 2005 with a self-released EP 'Boomstick/Halo Ember', followed by 'Blatant' released on Punk Funk in 2006,
'Squelch Freak' on BijouBeats March 2007 & now Serious Wobble on Ground Level.

Ascion

Techno producer Pasquale Ascione, also known as Ascion, was born in Naples Italy. As a child, he was fascinated by electronics and his hunger for technology quickly matured. When the introduction to electronic music emerged, Ascion immediately indulged himself into the local underground scene. Soon he met friend and future collaborator, D. Carbone, who would play a major role in Ascion's electronic voyage. He began to experiment creating his own style and unique sounds. As his skills developed, so did his growing reputation.

Nacho Vegas

Self-described as a rock-singer-songwriter, Nacho Vegas blends the polyhedric language of rock and the most stark lyricism into an intense whole. His lyrics are painful and celebratory, pathetic and grand, brutally lucid and of an intimate beauty; a desperate philosophy of survival shines with a wicked sense of humour and a longing for the divine. Nacho Vegas has been a prominent figure in the Spanish 'indie' scene since his work with Eliminator Jr, Manta Ray; bands influenced by Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, and other similar avant-rock acts of the early 90's.

O.V.N.I.

In 2000 O.V.N.I was formed when the members of the Alfa-Matrix break beat band, Seize, decided to swap roles and do something a little darker, this time with Steven taking the lead vocals and Sandrine and Rosie on bass and keyboards respectively. O.V.N.I started out with the name Spermwhale, but decided to change it when hunting for a label.

The Singing Loins

AUTHENTIC RAW FOLK FROM THE MEDWAY DELTA, UK The Loins are Chris Broderick on vocals, Chris (Arfur) Allen on guitar and Rob Shepherd on banjo, mandolin & acordian, with John Forrester on occasional stand-up bass. Chris Broderick & Chris (Arfur) Allen started The Loins as a raw, stripped down acoustic duo in 1990. The Loins' song writing is steeped in the British & European traditions of Punk, Folk, Music Hall, Character, Chorus, Cabaret, Melodrama & Buffoonery.

Dress To Kill

Formed in March 2009, Dress to kill wrote their debut album "The Life and The Times" in 5 months. The album was then recorded and produced by Supergrass front-man Gaz Coombes in August, the same year.
Dress to kill have been touring the South of England and Wales since september 2009 and the self-managed band have built up a following of over 1,700 listeners. Lead Singer Giles Refoy fronts the British Indie-Rock band, supported by guitarists - Tom Flatman and Nigel Gardner, and by bassist Rich Bennett and drummer Sam Gerard.
