The Oppressed

Welsh punk band The Oppressed began their infamous career in the early '80s as an outlet for Roddy Moreno, an outspoken advocate for racial unity in the skinhead and Oi! scenes. He formed Oi! Records, a short-lived but highly influential label that served as the outlet for the Oppressed's music. They performed throughout the '80s, but as time wore on Moreno became far more involved in S.H.A.R.P. (Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice) and eventually disbanded the group.

The Guttersnipes

In 1987 The Guttersnipes were formed in London, UK by Shug O'Neill and Andy Kline.. Early gigs in London quickly gain the band a reputation as an exciting live act, supporting the likes of Splodgenessabounds, Mega City Four and The Senseless Things. During Mid 1989 their debut album "The Poor Dress Up" is released by the independent label Razor Records. This album went on to sell 1500 copies despite complete lack of promotion or advertising by Razor. The album sells only because of Andy and Shug's work in promoting the band through the fanzine network in Europe.

Cockney Rejects

The Cockney Rejects are an Oi! punk band which formed in the East End of London in 1979.
Their biggest UK hit The Greatest Cockney Rip-Off was a parody of Sham 69's Hersham Boys. As Julie Burchill noted, "It must have been a bloody strong wind that blew the sound of Bow Bells to Surrey." Other songs were less commercial as they tended to be about street fighting and football hooliganism - except for the band's version of the famous West Ham United anthem, "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles".

Call To Arms

Call to Arms is a 5 piece Street Rock'n'Roll band from the South Bay area of Northern California. Since their inception in 2004, the band has recorded a full length album on Brutus Records (Italy), has been featured on the Backstreets of American Oi! volume II, and has a new EP in the works. Musically, the band cites it's roots in Blues, 77 punk, Old School Hardcore, Classic Rock, and Oi! Always on the cutting edge of their genre, Call to Arms writes music straight from the heart featuring slide guitars, walking basslines, and blistering solos.

The main topics are antifascism, anarchy and freedom. 2)Some nasty and ripping metal that smacks of the bad boy L.A. scene of old, conjuring images of GNR, L.A. Guns, and early Skid Row, as well as some of the early carefree work of both Saigon Kick and Ugly Kid Joe.
