Galaxie 500

There are two bands with the name Galaxie 500:
1) an American alternative rock band that formed in 1987 and split in 1991
2) a francophone indie garage rock formed in 2002 in Montreal, Canada, and now known as Galaxie 1) Galaxie 500 formed in Boston, MA in 1986 and comprised vocalist/guitarist Dean Wareham (a transplanted New Zealand native), bassist Naomi Yang and drummer Damon Krukowski, longtime friends who first met in high school in New York City before all three attended Harvard University.

The Blue Angel Lounge

The band formed in 2004 and is named after a Club in New York in the 60`s, where Nico (Velvet Underground) had her first solo performances. The Blue Angel Lounge always loves music or art in general, so it was a privilege to make good music only for themselves. Now they would like to share their music and ideas with people they Love and Respect.

Creature With the Atom Brain

Creature with the Atom Brain is a Belgian alternative rock band consisting of Millionaire keyboardist Aldo Struyf (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Dave Schroyen (Drums), Jan Wygers (Bass) and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen (Guitar). The band have been said to make "fuzzy stripped-back rock’n'roll noise with a generous helping of weird." The band's name is taken from the Roky Erickson & the Aliens song (which in turn was taken from the 1955 film of the same name), with Struyf citing Erickson's former band the 13th Floor Elevators and the man himself as influencing Creature with the Atom Brain's sound.

These are songs borne from the trash, literally sourced from a box of records the Southampton multi-instrumentalist found on a walk by a council block’s curbside garbage.

Pink Mountaintops

Pink Mountaintops is Black Mountain frontman Stephen McBean’s side project. The music resembles the style of Black Mountain but has a more psychedelic and experimental side with mellow tunes and complicated lyrics. Pink Mountaintops removed the “The” from its name on its second album, Axis of Evol.

BRAIDS is a band that lost to a Red Hot Chili's cover band in high school. This is how they met. Raphie knew Austin since Junior High. Austin used to sleep beside his Dad's bass drum. Austin and Taylor were in a Jazz combo in High School. Raphie met Katie in Theatre class. Katie dropped out of certain classes so she could stay in Theatre and play Piano. Katie met Taylor through a trip to Greece. They stole music from volunteering at their favorite local radio station. Raphie broke her leg and took up Guitar. They all decided to start a band.
