Fingathing are an instrumental jazz / hip-hop band from Manchester, UK, comprising classically trained Double bass player Sneaky and DJ / turntablist Peter Parker. The duo first performed together as part of the backing band for Rae & Christian before teaming up. Over the course of the years, they have released several full length albums ; 'The Main Event' (2000), 'Superhero Music' (2002) and 'Fingathing and the Big Red Nebula Band' (2004), with a best of compilation following the year after.
Members Kool Keith, Ced Gee, TR Love and Moe Love released their debut album Critical Beatdown, produced by Paul C., in 1988 and inspired the world of hip hop with their original sound of unorthodox sampling, polysyllabic rhymes, and bizarre lyrical imagery. Kool Keith went on to work with many other groups and solo projects including The Cenobites, Dr Octagon, Masters Of Illusion and Dr. Dooom Their work has been often sampled, most notably in The Prodigy song "Smack My Bitch Up"
Transient names at least six musical entities. 1) Transient are a melodic hardcore band from Greenville, SC, United States. Forming in the fall of 2010, they started to gain recognition with their debut EP Alone, promoting their own brand of passionate modern hardcore, with strong and ambient melodic guitar riffs. They have released 2 EP's to date, Alone, a 5 song EP in May 2011, and their latest release We Do Not Lose Heart, a 3 song EP in March 2012. Both of these EP's can be downloaded from the bands Bandcamp page, with a donation scheme implemented for both.

Stefan Bruinsma (17-08-1982), a.k.a. Number 9, was born and raised in the north of the Netherlands in a city called Groningen. At the age of 9 he discovered music was his passion, and he took his first piano lessons shortly followed by his first guitar lessons. After developing as a musician he encountered people that shared his vision on making music and performing on stage. Subtle is a music group consisting of artists, producers, rappers, instrumentalists Adam 'Doseone' Drucker, Jeff 'Jel' Logan, Dax Pierson, Marty Dowers, Jordan Dalrymple and Alexander Kort. Although both Adam and Jeff are founding and continuing members of the Anticon music collective, Subtle is not on the Anticon roster. Subtle started as an Oakland, California based band in 2001. While considered by the artists to be "genreless", Subtle has close ties to the hip-hop and indie music scene. Alexander Kort has released CDs on anticon's official web store run by astropitch.
