The Pinecone Kids

The Pinecone Kids were born this year and with downs syndrome. As a result they go around asking people if they would like to buy pinecones. Straight outta east London gutters they play gritty grungey noisy madness, but also soft soothing sonnets of ambience. Essentially, the Pinecone Kids are a clan, a consortium, and they will infect you with their Pinecone insanity. The Pinecone Kids on Soundcloud

Drawing influences from 80's and 90's dance music their electro edge provides definition and character to their very own brand of melodic pop music. Being called upon for support slots with DAN LE SAC, THE INFADELS, BOY KILL BOY and THE WOMBATS, theCOLOURS now have caught the attention of Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman. She has selected them as soundtrack to her website www.edithbowman.com

Powerage

Powerage was one of the first punk bands to come out of South Africa, with songs against apartheid, the a.w.b., and everything that they saw wrong in the world. Through the time Powerage was together the line up changed several times. This is defenitely one of the bravest punk bands to have come out of the 80s
Powerage is also the name of a Scandinavian band.
