Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. He had wanted to be a musician somehow for as long as he could remember, idling his way through a rather chequered childhood.
Ended up in Newtown, Mid Wales playing in various incarnations, eventually playing in the much missed(maybe before their time) local experimental dance funk trio, Call It A Clunes!
In 2005 he moved to Nottingham with a few sketches of what would be future songs, starting writing for a project which sadly didn't come to fruition.
