Corrosion Of Conformity

Corrosion of Conformity (COC) started as a hardcore punk band in 1982 in Raleigh, North Carolina, with original members Reed Mullin on drums, Woody Weatherman on guitar and Mike Dean on bass. COC were pioneers of the crossover thrash genre in the 1980s. The seeds for Corrosion of Conformity were planted when a 15-year-old Woody Weatherman was taken by his father to a Black Flag concert. Inspired by the gig, he took up guitar after his father gave him an acoustic a few days later. Not being able to make enough noise with it, he traded it in immediately for a Gibson electric.

Jan Jelinek

Jan Jelinek (whose monikers include Gramm, for Source Records, and Farben), is a Berlin-based producer of electronic music drawing influences from jazz, dub, funk, soul, and house. On 2001's Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records, Jelinek manipulates fragments of sound from old jazz recordings, transforming them beyond recognition into completely new pieces of music. On la nouvelle pauvrete, he joins forces with the imaginary band The Exposures, which he himself fabricated.

Rescue Rangers

Fall 2005, a group of stoner from the south of France (who just giggle at the back of the room as I frames?) we unclog savagely eardrums blow slats good rockin, bass thumping at will and a heat wave that was feeling damn good to hear. Name: Rescue Rangers, the subject of crime: Masters of the middle finger, an EP 4 tracks urgent and angry, which feels like big fat rock run along the Grand Canyon, under a blazing sun (in the rain Nord-Pas de Calais, the pleasure was not the same ... obviously).

Premonition 13

By now, the musical exploits of Scott “Wino” Weinrich are the stuff of legend. The Obsessed. Saint Vitus. Spirit Caravan. The Hidden Hand. Shrinebuilder. After releasing his solo debut in 2009, Wino went acoustic in early 2011 with Adrift, a gut-wrenchingly personal album written by a man who has survived a lifetime of gut-wrenching scenarios and lived to tell the tales.
Wino’s latest project sees him plugged back in—both to his amplifier and the full-band format.
