Dub-One

Dub-One, otherwise known as Olly Harmer, is unleashing some serious breakbeat pressure for reputable imprints like Scientific Wax and Renegade Recordings. A steadfast ally of Breakage and Equinox, Dub-One has asserted himself as a credible force in the dubwize drumfunk community. "Cry of War" digs back a little deeper for that extra edge - delivering a nasty, caustic affair of timestretched amens, NWA samples and razor sharp reece basslines.

Shackleton

Co-ran Skull Disco with Appleblim. Shackleton's unconventional take on big basslines and complex beats doesn't fit into easy categories and that's how it's going to stay. Shackleton has been carving out his own brand of eclecticism on Skull Disco releases so far with intricate, snaking percussion, hypnotic melodies, seriously deep bass lines and dubwise sensibilities. www.skulldisco.com

Headjam

South London based 4 piece - Headjam play an original and individual mix of frantic dub beats spliced with metal/punk and anything else that comes to mind. We've always found it hard to describe our sound so if anyone else knows what it is - answers on a postcard please :-) Given the choice we would be out playing the festivals, but since the demise of the exodus festies (which for a while rekindled the authentic free festy vibe) we've spent most of our time playing the London party scene with the likes of PAIN and IT and the inimitable Reknaw system.
