DFRNT
Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs. Within a few weeks, he had worked up a furious remix of Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop” and with a solid base of feedback, decided to work on a number of entirely original tracks. Algar
Algar is a chip music artist from Berlin/Stockholm, Germany/Sweden. He discovered the wonderful music when he was about 10 years old and is still active. He is a part of the band Morgonjuice
Adrian Sherwood
Adrian Sherwood has been around for a long time. He's the man behind the On-U Sound label, and eponymous sound system. The one that usually does the rounds at least once a year, and has done so for as long as you can remember. If you've ever been to an On-U gig you'll know it's loud, uncompromising, live dub sound, and you'd remember there's lots and lots of noise, as you recall the ringing that's left in your ears for hours after.
Bus
There are two different projects/acts named Bus. 1.
Bus, a duo consisting of Daniel Meteo & Tom Thiel, playing minimal dub enriched by minimal electronics and hip hop. worked together with MC Soom-T, most releases under ~scape 2.
Bus, aka Gus Till (Slinky Wizard/Zen Lemonade) is one of the pioneers of the psy trance scene since its inception. Highly prolific, releasing over 60+ tracks either under his own name or as Bus, slinky Wizard, Stoop & Fidget, Zen Lemonade on Flying Rhino, Dragonfly, Iboga, Tip World and many more.
Macka B
Macka B is a British-born reggae artist, performer and activist with a career spanning almost 30 years in the United Kingdom and Jamaica. He is also a practicing Rastafarian. On leaving school, Macka B became a technical apprentice for Ever Ready GB Ltd, made redundant three years later due to the factory closure. In 1980 completed an engineering inspection course. Macka B has always been interested in music. At school, he played the violin, and also joined the school choir. Whilst at school, he became more interested in Reggae music, especially DJ's, I-Roy, U-Roy, Prince Jazzbo.
Andrew Pekler
Andrew Pekler was born in Samarkand, Uzbekistan (then U.S.S.R.). His family immigrated to the U.S., eventually settling in Monterey, California. In the mid 90s he moved to Heidelberg, Germany to attend university. Since 2000 he has been living and working in Berlin.
Under his own name he has produced two records for the ̃scape label, Station to Station (2002) and Nocturnes, False Dawns and Breakdowns (2004) as well as releasing Strings + Feedback (2005) on Staubgold. His latest album Cue, was released in June 2007 on Kranky (Chicago, USA).
Lee Perry
Lee "Scratch" Perry (born on March 20, 1936, in Kendal, Jamaica) is a reggae and dub artist, who has been highly influential in the development and acceptance of reggae and dub music in Jamaica and overseas.

Andy Rantzen
Andrew Rantzen is a Sydney-based lo-fi electronic recording artist and writer. Trained as a psychologist, he has been lecturer and tutor at the University of Sydney. He is most well-known as part of the duo Itch-E and Scratch-E along with Paul Mac (Boo Boo & Mace is another alias for the same duo). He has produced remixes for Severed Heads, INXS and The Wiggles, and has done soundtrack work for the film Sample People. He also records with the Pelican Daughters. In 2001 he released his first solo LP, Blue Hour.
