Anton Zap

Anton Zap was born in Moscow in 1979. He studied Chinese for 7 years and then embarked on a 2 year sound engineering course. He started collecting wax from a very young age and in the mid 90’s he joined Moscow’s underground lounge group, Tetris, led by Vlad Lozinsky. He was resident DJ at one of Moscow’s leading clubs, Propaganda from 1997-2005. He later started his own band, Papaztrio alongside Pavel Hotin and Yuriy Shulgin.

Tijuana Cartel is a Gold Coast band playing mexican and latin inspired music combined with house and electronic influences. It consists of Paul George and Carey O'sullivan as co-producers, guitarists and keyboard players. Regan Hoskins as MC & Daniel Gonzalez on latin percussion and a growing list of guests as live feature artists featuring DJ Freddie FlyFingaz, trumpet player Shannon Van Horn and Adam Dann on djembe & darabukka.

Radical Dance Faction

Radical Dance Faction (RDF) were founded by Chris Bowsher in Hungerford, UK, 1986, and were originally known as Military Surplus. The band experienced many line up changes, and Chris remained the only original member up to the time RDF split up (sometime in the late 1990's). RDF's music combined punk, dub, and ska, while Chris' lyrics, spoken rather than song, dealt mainly with political issues, such as the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 in the song Chinese Poem. Chris also witnessed first hand the Hungerford massacre, describing his experience in Hot on the Wire.
