Formed 1989 by David Bridie and Helen Mountfort (members of Not Drowning Waving) Like their former band, My Friend The Chocolate Cake's music can be seen to straddle the worlds of ambient and world music, with an emphasis on piano and violin-led acoustic music. Influences range from the obvious (such as Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Celtic folk music), to the less obvious (such as John Cale and Talk Talk).
Heath is a self-titled solo project from X JAPAN's bassist, Morie Hiroshi , a Japanese artist born January 22, 1968, in Amagasaki, Japan. When Heath was a member of X JAPAN he released two solo albums: "Heath" (1995) and "Meikyu No Lovers" (1996). Planxty was an Irish folk music band consisting of soon-to-be-legendary musicians Christy Moore (vocals, acoustic guitar, bodhrán), Dónal Lunny (bouzouki, guitars), Andy Irvine (mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, hurdy-gurdy, harmonica), and Liam O'Flynn (uilleann pipes, tin whistle). The band was formed in 1972, and quickly revolutionized and popularized Irish folk music, touring and recording to great acclaim. The band broke up twice; first in 1975 and again in 1983. The band re-united again in 2004. Their final performance (to date) was in 2005.

Neon Neon is a collaboration between the artists Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys. They first worked together on Boom Bip's Blue Eyed in the Red Room album, released in 2005. Their debut album, Stainless Style was released on March 18th, 2008 through Lex Records. Their first single Trick for Treat is also out, and can be heard on their myspace page. The album "Stainless Style" was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Prize.
Phebe and Harry met in 2005 on MySpace and five months later Harry had moved from Bundaberg to Adelaide so they could be together. Harry had been in Brisbane hardcore band Slain of Myself and was a keen piano and guitar player. Phebe had no previous musical endevours, other than the few years of recorder she did in primary school. They did their first gig in 2007 after getting air play on community radio stations like Adelaide's Three D. They have played with the likes of Tim & Jean, The John Steel Singers, Jonathan Boulet, That 1 Guy, Lovers Electric, Kid Confucius.
