Dave Berry (born David Holgate Grundy in Woodhouse, Sheffield, England, on February 6, 1941), was a British pop singer and teen idol of the 1960s. A unique, and charismatic performer, Dave Berry performed a mixture of hard R&B and pop ballads. He was extremely popular in Britain, and on Continental Europe. He had an unusual ambition for a pop performer trying to make a name for himself - to appear on TV completely hidden by a prop.
It seems like there are several bands with the name "The Fantastics." 1. the band from Providence RI who were around from 2000-2004 and played "cold wave". Many of the same members are now in a band called The Cold War. 2. In December 2007 Reverend Cleatus & The Soul Saviours was renamed The Fantastics!.

Roy Hamilton (b. April 16, 1929, Leesburg, Georgia – d. July 20, 1969, New Rochelle, New York) was an American singer who achieved major success in both the R&B and pop charts in the 1950s. He moved to Jersey City in 1943, studied commercial art, had operatic and classical voice training, and was a heavyweight Golden Gloves boxer, before joining gospel quartet The Searchlight Singers. In 1947 he entered and won an amateur talent show at the Apollo Theater with his dramatic rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the musical "Carousel".
Ann Sexton was born 5th February 1950 in Greenville, South Carolina, U.S.A. Songwriter David Lee spotted Ann in 1971, although not a well known artist, Ann recorded a series of great soul records for the legendary Nashville soul DJ and label-owner John R (John Richbourg). Her best known songs, "You've Been Gone Too Long" and "You're Losing Me", were, and still are, great favourites on the Northern Soul scene.
Liquid Gold were an English disco group conisting of Ellie Hope (vocals), Syd Twynham (guitar), Ray Knott (bass) and Wally Rothe (drums). Ray Knott and Ellie Hope had met auditioning to play in Babe Ruth, a group that released four albums between 1972 and 1975. After the final album, Kid Stuff, they recruited Wally Rothe and Syd Twynham to form Dream Coupe; after a few shows they signed to Creole Records, a Polo Records subsidiary, and changed their name to Liquid Gold.
