Meneo

Meneo is pure gameboy reggaetón and electro-dancehall along vocoders and keytars, which are the weapons of choice for *MeNeO*'s deep, flavoured, latin rhythms that are accompanied by Entter's VJ "Fruity Booty" and his made-to-measure vjing application that's been the envy of many at several video art festivals. The MENEO performance investigates artistic concepts that imply the surprising and unforeseeable, accidents, mistakes and coincidences as a means to alter the dynamics of creative performance and to discover new aesthetic presentations.

Minusbaby

Long-time 8bitpeoples member, minusbaby, born Richard Alexander Caraballo in New York City, trades in counterpoint, subtle dissonances and surprises. While it may be impossible to predict what will happen at each performance, one constant can be expected: a forceful equatorial beat. Each familiar song is given new variation while the center holds it down with a bassy bottom end to make anything bump and bounce that hasn't been tied down, exploding the very meaning of 8-bit orchestration.

They claim to draw influence from Waking The Cadaver, Annotations of an Autopsy and Job For A Cowboy. Bandmembers:

Skin Walker

Begun initially under the pseudonym of Thank Fuscia in the fall of late 2006, 8-bit music (or as the nitpickers would like to title it, 'Chiptune') was always a slight musical interest to the artist we now know as Skin Walker, yet never an aspirational one. As the years went on, and he managed to generate more and more distorted, unsatisfying tracks, a short run of gigs, an array of lost albums self-released with close to no distribution and a room full of shoddy equipment, the decision to quit was an obvious one.

Instruments (Make Music)

Instruments (Make Music) are a four piece math-pop band from South & East London and Essex, consisting of Ashley Davies (guitar/vocals), Stacey Conway (bass/vocals), Rob Wolfenden (guitar) and Matt Hill (Drums). They make precise yet unconstrained math pop, it’s bouncy, fun but hiding in the closet there's a slice of drama which can't help but rear its little head from the midst of chirpy melodies.
