The Coathangers

The Coathangers are a rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. They are: The Crook Kid Coathanger: Vocals, guitar, tamborine; Minnie Coathanger: Vocals, bass, tamborine; Rusty Coathanger: Vocals, drums; Bebe Coathanger: Vocals, keys. The band formed in 2006 as a joke, played a house show and were asked to open for The Hiss on the strength of their performance. The name was chosen for its vulgarity - an irreverent take on abortions - though all band members are pro-choice.

Vulture Industries explore a gloomy musical landscape. With their doomy, progressive and different approach to metal they’ve stood out in the Bergen, Norway music scene since the band formed in 2002. Their sound is a unique mix of extreme, melodic, symphonic, industrial and slightly experimental metal. Takka Takka is a foursome indie rock band from Brooklyn and Queens. Singer-guitarist-keyboardist Gabe Levine says their name comes from "writing songs about war, and it's a painting about war, with machine guns going, 'TAKKA TAKKA.'" Other band members are Conrad Doucette, Damion Jurrens, and JP Jones. The Shondes (from the Yiddish for "shame", "monster" or "disgrace",) are a -influenced quartet based in Brooklyn, New York.
