Van Halen is a band which formed in 1972 in Pasadena, California, United States. The band was originally called Mammoth and changed their name to Van Halen by 1974. The band's first studio album, "Van Halen", released in 1978, is widely regarded as a milestone in rock music. With this first release, the band, featuring David Lee Roth on vocals, Michael Anthony on bass, and Dutch-born Edward Van Halen on guitars (and also keyboards later) and brother Alex Van Halen on drums, established itself as a leader in the emerging and commercially successful U.

There are at least three artists called Mad Max, a hard rock band, a eurobeat group and a chiptune writer for Atari computers. 1) MAD MAX is a Münster melodic Hard Rock outfit debuted with a line-up of vocalist Andreas Baesler, guitarists Wilfred Schneider and Jürgen Breforth, bassist Thomas Hoffman and drummer Uwe Starck, cutting a self-financed, eponymous album for issue in 1982. This offering was subsequently re-issued via Roof Music in 1983.

Jeff Scott Soto has been involved in bands included Yngwie Malmsteen, Panther, Axel Rudi Pell, Eyes, Talisman, Takara, Humanimal, Human Clay, Kryst The Conqueror, Redlist, The Boogie Knights and Soul Sirkus. By the time he reached his mid-30’s, Jeff Scott Soto had already spent twenty years splitting his time between recording studios and concert stages around the world. From heavy metal and funk to AOR and pop, Jeff has done it all.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Alternative hip-hop group from the United States. Their first single "Hunting Man", which features/samples Disney star and indie singer-songwriter Hayley Kiyoko, was released on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Their debut mixtape, "The Cloud Story", is set to be released in Summer 2012. This is the only Glory to give a fuck about. 2) Hardrock band from sweden, popular in the late 80s and early 90s.

The Leisure Society

The story of The Leisure Society began in Burton-Upon-Trent when Nick Hemming picked up a guitar and formed a band with Shane Meadows, Paddy Considine and Rich Eaton. Following a year of demos and increasingly bizarre gigs, Shane and Paddy were drawn towards careers in film, leaving Nick to pursue a life of making music. After serving time with Burton's best known exports The Telescopes (latterly Unisex), Nick contributed scores to some of Shane's movies, including A Room For Romeo Brass and Dead Man's Shoes, under a new moniker The Leisure Society.
