As the line up currently stands Lets Talk Tactics have been together for 6 months. We are unsigned and will be releasing our first E.P - Advanced Preview - in early 2008.
Lets Talk Tactics are paving the way for a new generation of music, and a new generation of music lovers. Sweeping aside the snobbery that many other genres/bands rely on, 'LTT' aim to create music that everyone can dance to and enjoy.
White Collar Boy is music from Gavin White and Mark Cummins, who invite friends along to help them. A lot of the material was recorded in the autumn/winter of 2010. But recordings will take place along with raves and the rest of it over the summer.
Clara Clara saw the light of day in a basement in the small town of Dijon, France, gathered around a saucepan drumkit, a “shitty” Höner guitar and a My First Sony Microphone. Yet it immediately became the very core of the local spazz rock scene (we’re talking at least 8 people here, all of them shell- shocked by a short stay in town of dutch experimental band The Ex). Basically made up of Charles and François Virot (the latter being famous enough under his own name) and Amélie Lambert (a school book of whom cued the band with its name)...
The Russian Futurists are a Canadian indie pop band based in Toronto. Their music can be described as lo-fi, indie-electronica fused with a twee-pop temperament. Although they initially had only one member, Matthew Adam Hart (born 1978), the band was later enlarged for live performances. Brief, exhilarating songs about love
There are 3 artists with this name. 1. Portmanteau is "Dirty south bass wonked right up in an obese beat spectacular from this Oxford heritage duo, now based in Bristol. Live instrumentation and hands on knob-twiddlery all patched up and effected in a kaleidoscopic, neon, rump shakin' natural disaster. Prepare to have your brain pummeled in the nicest possible way." www.myspace.com/0portmanteau0
Monolake was formed in 1995 as the duo of Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke, although on later albums the group consisted of Henke alone, with Behles focusing his time on running the Ableton software company. Their sound can generally be described as minimal techno filled with nice touch of fine tech dub, although the 1999 Gobi. The Desert EP, which contains a single 37-minute atmospheric piece, is a notable exception. Monolake first released an album and several 12"s on Berlin's Chain Reaction label, then on Monolake/Imbalance Computer Music, which is operated by Robert Henke.
Maria Apetri (born February 6, 1985), known as Fallulah, will surely join the ranks of Bat For Lashes, Jenny Wilson and Marina & The Diamonds, as part of the new emerging wave of proud, bold and adventurous female popartists. Fallulah creates popmusic with finesse, integrity and a fiery, hot- tempered feel of Central Europe. Her songs defy genres and contain subtle elements of classic pop, rock´n´roll, indie, balkan, jazz and r&b.
Michael Forrest is a solo multi-instrumentalist producer based in London. His influences are far reaching, from instrumental hip-hop through ragged electronica to jazz and classical music. The sound is asymmetric, polyrhythmic, often atonal, sometimes dark, sometimes relaxed, sometimes very very tense, but always fun. Multi-instrumentalist Forrest plays all his own instruments - the keyboard, the trumpet, cello, drums, decks and anything else he can lay his hands on.
