Erika

There are at least four artists named Erika. 1) Erika De Bonis is an Italian dance singer better known for her popular song I Don't Know. Erika's first releases were under the label of Rossano Prini A&R SPY records. The young Italian artist became famous when she released the song Relations. This track jumped to No. 1 on all Italian charts in the first half of 2001. Erika released some other tracks that became very popular in dance clubs: Right or Wrong and Ditto. There are several artists tagged as 'Jelly' (not in chronological order) : 1) A 90's Indonesian band from Surabaya. 2) A Psychedelic rock band from Tucson, AZ. www.thejellyproject.com. 3) A Japanese rock band, more correctly tagged as JELLY→. 4) A Chinese pop star, more correctly tagged as 赵美彤. 5) A west-coast soft rock band featuring future actress Amy Madigan. The band released one album, "A True Story" in 1977.

Minamo

There are two different artists under the name Minamo: An electro-acoustic rock group and a Free Jazz/Classical Duo. 1. In 1999, the electro-acoustic group Minamo was formed by Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga. In 2000, minamo's self-released CD-R "wakka" was reissued by the New York label Quakebasket. This release was selected by Matmos as one of best sounds in 2001 in The Wire magazine.
In 2001 two new members joined, Yuiichiro Iwashita (guitar) and Namiko Sasamoto (sax, organ), to make the band a quartet. In 2002, first CD album ".kgs" has released by the Tokyo label 360 records.

Ovum

Ovum is a four piece instrumental post rock band hailing from Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in 2006 by Norikazu Chiba (guitar, keyboard), Yosuke Jinnouchi (guitar), Shunsuke Onoyama (bass) and Yu Tokuda (drums) and has been playing since. They describe their music as “the pursuit of universal beauty such as the sweetest of melodies and harmony, which may sound classical”. On May 2007 they released their first EP entitled Under The Lost Sky on Lost Records which featured only four songs and on April 2008 they released their first full length entitled Microcosmos on XTAL Records.

Lisa

There are at least six known artist with the name 'Lisa', two are from Japan, one from Korea, one from Italy, one from Taiwan, one from France and one from Holland. 1) Risa Oribe (織部里沙 Oribe Risa, born June 24, 1987), better known by her stage name LiSA is a Japanese singer signed to Aniplex under Sony Music Artists. Her stage name is an acronym for 'Love is Same All', a band she formed in 2008. She is known for her works as the vocalist of the second generation of Girls Dead Monster (Girls Dead Monster Starring Lisa), which gained popularity through the anime Angel Beats!.

Winnie

Winnie is an indie Japanese band formed in 2002. They released their first demo in the same year. In 2003 they released their first mini-album first class speed of light. While they continued to perform live they did not release their second mini-album The Darkest Eternal Lights until 2008. winnie's music is a more pop/rock inspired with all of it being sung in mostly understandable English. And mix the vocals between female member Iori and male member Okuji.

Shelf Life

1) Shelf Life is the solo project of Scotty Leitch (Pirouette, Young Bull, The Sniffles, Bonjour, etc). On the internet at http://soundcloud.com/ikey-heyman 2) It all began in Rubber Soul, the live house in Tokyo's Kokubunji district. Late 2003 - Dom Pates (formerly of Britain's The Zamora) wandered in and met bar owner Cheryo. Dom asked for a track for an album he was producing. The song 'Hallelujah Jambo' by Cheryo & The Berovolas, originally written in Kenya with local musicians, appeared on the 'Peace Not War Japan' compilation when released in 2006.
