George FitzGerald is Peter O’Grady aka Joy Orbison’s protege – a London based producer expanding the future garage scene, on the same tip as Joy Orbison.
Manchester-based producer xxxy (born Rupert Taylor) is known for refining the propulsive, foot-forward sound of UK garage. Currently he's signed to various labels. Over the past year he has been quietly building a solid reputation with milestone releases on Infrasonics and Fortified Audio, as well as featuring on the seminal Fabric compilation "Elevator Music". With further releases set to come on labels such as Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen and Well Rounded, and a host of UK and European shows - it's little doubt that xxxy will leave a lasting impression on the UK underground.
Balam Acab is the musical project of 21 year old Pennsylvania, USA native Alec Koone. Balam Acab's contributions fit squarely into the contemporary witch house canon made popular by bands such as Purity Ring and Salem. Forming tracks consisting mainly of arpeggiated riffs and synthesized beats layered over obscure, distorted samples alluding to classic animated films, Balam Acab creates a dream world worthy of its nostalgic references.
Born Perth, Western Australia 1992 Currently in Sydney, New South Wales Dro Carey debuted with a limited vinyl release on Will Bankhead's label The Trilogy Tapes in December 2010, an EP called Venus Knock. Since then the 19 year-old was named as one of the top ten producers to watch in 2011 by FACT Magazine, was included in esteemed UK selector Ben UFO's Rinse mix series entry, and has collaborated with the former Roll Deep member Trim.
Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs. Within a few weeks, he had worked up a furious remix of Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop” and with a solid base of feedback, decided to work on a number of entirely original tracks. His previous production work under other aliases, (including mixtapes, mashups, unofficial remixes and original production from chill-out stuff...
