The year was 1978 - The hands of America were glued to an Atari joystick, Olivia Newton-John became every boy's fantasy in Grease, and rock n' roll got kissed by seductive synth beats. For music, it was an era of contradiction in the best possible way. Oasis is a full-length studio album by the D.I.T.C. members O.C. and A.G.. The album was released on November 24, 2009 through D.I.T.C./Baby Grande after being pushed back several times. 8 of the 16 songs is produced by Frenchman Eric Blaze who previously collaborated with the duo on The Movement. Additional production is handled by Statik Selektah as well as legendary D.I.T.C. producers Lord Finesse and Show, who's also the executive producer of the project.

The Hotknives

Ska legends The Hotknives were originally formed in 1982 in England by a group of friends interested in ska, dub, reggae and Northern Soul. They recorded two live albums, "Live at the boatman" and "Live and Skanking" before recording their first studio album, "The Way Things Are" in 1989. Having reached the top of the 3rd Wave ska scene and been banned from Radio in the UK, the band decided to call it a day in 1993.

The band released three albums - Smart, The It Girl and Pleased To Meet You - and split in 1998.

Chris Moyles is a Sony Gold award winning British radio DJ, who currently hosts the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, 'The Chris Moyles Show'. Spring Heeled Jack

Spring Heeled Jack U.S.A. was a third wave ska band based out of New Haven, Connecticut. The band was formed by guitarist/vocalist Ron Ragona and drummer Dave Karcich in 1991. After a short breakup, Ragona and Karcich reformed the band with a new lineup. This lineup would record two albums before announcing a hiatus in 2000. While the band members moved on to new bands, their intention was to play the occasional reunion show. This idea was would never come to fruition due to Karcich's sudden death in 2002 after suffering a brain aneurysm.
