Funkoars

The Funkoars are an Australian hip hop act from Adelaide, Australia and formed in 1999. Funkoars were founded on the unique personalities of four individuals. These larger than life musicians were drawn to each other not just from a love of music, but their light hearted and jovial outlook on life. It’s these personalities coupled with their prodigious talent that has brought Funkoars their success. The energetic and humorous nature of their lyrics is not something that can be emulated.

Emancipator

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere. Emancipator (Douglas Appling) played his first live show in July 2009, opening for Bonobo at the Roseland Theater (cap. 1500). Since then, he’s toured with Bassnectar, drawn crowds at festivals like Trinumeral and Symbiosis, and closed out Sound Tribe Sector 9’s late night parties in Denver at the request of the band.

TZU

TZU are an Australian hip hop group, originating from Melbourne, Victoria. The group formed in 1999 as a side project combining members of Curse Ov Dialect and Pan. Members include Joelistics, Countbounce, Pasobionic and Yeroc. They are known for live shows with significant crowd involvement where they will often involve local MCs, and have been known to invite the entire audience on stage. TZU differs from typical hip hop groups because they use instruments in their performances.

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien

Del the Funky Homosapien is an alternative hip-hop artist. Del was born Teren Delvon Jones, August 12, 1972, in Oakland, California. Del was part of his cousin Ice Cube’s backing band Da Lench Mob and made his first solo album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here, with support from his cousin in 1991. Critics and fans had mixed opinions about the album, many feeling that Del’s and Cube’s styles weren't an ideal match.

Deltron 3030

Deltron 3030 is a USA hip-hop supergroup, formed in 1999, around a core of: producer Dan Nakamura (aka Dan the Automator and the cantankerous Captain Aptos), rapper Teren Delvon Jones (aka Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and Deltron Zero) and DJ Eric San (aka Kid Koala and Skiznod the Boy Wonder), with many other artists, e.g. Damon Albarn, Sean Lennon and Paul Huston (aka Prince Paul) - all taking on various futuristic pseudonyms, like MC Paul Barman (aka Cleofis Randolph the Patriarch).

Dr. Octagon

Dr. Octagon is one of Kool Keith's many alter egos. His initial release as Dr. Octagon was 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, on which he collaborated with Dan the Automator Nakamura and DJ QBert. After the name was dropped in favour of Dr. Dooom, it was widely believed that it wouldn't be used again until the release of 2006's The Return of Dr. Octagon, which Keith maintains was changed and released without his consent.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1. Dexter Raymond Mills, Jr. (born June 14, 1977 in Queens, New York), better known by his stage name Consequence, is an American hip hop artist. 2. Consequence (Cameron Mclaren), a drum and bass artist, pioneering the new minimal style of drum and bass. They released Goodwill (as The Bandits) in 2009 and The NRK Compilation on April 17th, 2010. Both are available for free download. NRK was started by Pyramid Vritra, KC 2.0, Pyramid Murdock, and Gloomy Pyramid while they were in 8th grade. Members such as Jay Cue, Andre McCloud, Mr. Northstar, Tyler Major, LuiDiamonds, and Pyramid Mables were added later on when they were all in High School.
