Black Flag is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California, United States, largely the brainchild of Greg Ginn, the guitarist, primary songwriter and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes. Keith Morris was their original lead singer. He left the band suddenly in 1979 to form the well-known band, Circle Jerks. Ron Reyes was the second singer for the band, but decided to leave the band not too long after. Dez Cadena would be their next singer, but switched to second guitar when they found fourth and final singer Henry Rollins in Washington D.

Penelope Houston was the lead singer, primary songwriter, and her persona was a large part of the draw for the act. The other band members were James Wilsey (bass), D. He is perhaps best known for being the drummer for the highly influential punk rock group Ramones. Marc Bell started playing drums when he was 16, with his band Dust. He recorded two albums with the band." From a Dry Camel" one of the songs off their first album. Was listed in the top ten metal songs of all time. In the first edition of the Heavy Metal Almanac.The two albums made the charts in America.
No Use for a Name (often abbreviated NUFAN) is a punk rock band from San Jose, California. They were formed in 1987 by Tony Sly and Rory Koff. The band is highly praised in the skate punk and hardcore scenes, though their sound has evolved considerably through the years, taking on a much lighter and poppier brand of melodic punk. NUFAN's debut album, Incognito, was released in 1990 through New Red Archives.
