Known for their part in the burgeoning Seattle music scene of the early 1990s, their distinct punk rock sound gained a reputation for its uncompromising vision and bluesy street punk aesthetic.[1] They were known for their fiery live performances and retained a dedicated following both during and after their existence.

1. The Unclean were a punk/Oi! band from Detroit Michigan in the late 80's and early 90's. They frequently played shows with bands such as Rival and The Rogues 2. Unclean is a Czech black metal band founded in 1993. They recorded a two-song promo tape the same year and played several gigs in the Czech Republic in 1994 and 1995. In 1995 they released their second demo titled "Tam kdesi v hlubinách" which included 5 songs of occult black/death metal in the Czech style established by bands like Master's Hammer, Amon and Root.

Joe White

Jamaican singer Joe White has had an unsung career, issuing several brilliant singles through the ska, rocksteady, and early reggae eras, including 1967's "Rudies All Around," 1968's "Every Night" (produced by Sonia Pottinger), and an amazing version of "My Guiding Star," produced by Charles Ross at Studio One. Somehow, though, White never garnered the mass attention he deserved. Early on he was a member of vocal group the Leaders with Ken Boothe, Roy Shirley, and Chuck Josephs, and several singles by the quartet were issued on Federal, but none generated much action.

The Oppressed

Welsh punk band The Oppressed began their infamous career in the early '80s as an outlet for Roddy Moreno, an outspoken advocate for racial unity in the skinhead and Oi! scenes. He formed Oi! Records, a short-lived but highly influential label that served as the outlet for the Oppressed's music. They performed throughout the '80s, but as time wore on Moreno became far more involved in S.H.A.R.P. (Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice) and eventually disbanded the group.

The Suspects

The Suspects is a name shared by two different bands: 1.) A 3rd-wave ska band from Houston, Texas. The Suspects formed in early 1993 when Bill Grady and Charlie Esparza met via the bulletin board at the old Westheimer location of Sound Exchange Records. Other members of the band were slowly recruited, and The Suspects played their first show on October 3rd 1993 at the now defunct Hoi Polloi club on White Oak Drive in Houston.
