The Oppressed
Welsh punk band The Oppressed began their infamous career in the early '80s as an outlet for Roddy Moreno, an outspoken advocate for racial unity in the skinhead and Oi! scenes. He formed Oi! Records, a short-lived but highly influential label that served as the outlet for the Oppressed's music. They performed throughout the '80s, but as time wore on Moreno became far more involved in S.H.A.R.P. (Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice) and eventually disbanded the group.

The Last Resort
The Last Resort are a name synonomous with the Oi! movement both as a shop catering for those of the skinhead persuasion and lifestyle in the ‘80’s. One of the iconic bands of that era, whose reputation far outweighed their recorded output, this has resulted in the band being given legendary status despite only being together originally for little over a year between 1980 and 1982, with their first gig being as support to the Originals, featuring soon-to-be Last Resort bassist Arthur Kay at Acklam Hall in West London on March 4th, 1981.

Evil Conduct
100% working class Oi! music from Holland Many times Evil Conduct was compared with legendary Oi! bands from the early eighties. They were even nicknamed "the Dutch Last Resort". Although the band regards this as a big compliment it is obvious that Evil Conduct has its own identity with its own distinctive sound. Their music may be classified as basic, straight-in-yer-face, sing-along working class Oi! with powerfull vocals.
Sham 69
History: Sham 69 formed in 1976 (the 12 November issue of NME notes they were rehearsing at this time, although only Jimmy Pursey would remain from this early line-up 12 months later). Sham 69 lacked the art school background of many British punk bands of the time, and brought in football chant back-up vocals and a sort of inarticulate political populism. The band had a large skinhead following (left wing, right wing and non-political), which helped set the tone for the Oi! movement.
