Cars Can Be Blue started during the summer of 2002 after the dissolution of Nate's cover band and Becky's improv comedy group. Adelaide's Cape is the nu-folk music of Sam Taylor. Sam works with a collective of talented musicians in both performance and recording, most prominently with percussionist Hannah Richardson, who has been involved in Adelaide's Cape since its beginning. After relocating to the Southwest in September, Adelaide's Cape is continuously immersed in the musical hubs of Bristol, Norwich and London.
