Gavin Osborn's plan for his second record was to make an upbeat album, filled with positive songs to perk us all up in these troubled times. But the plan failed, and 'Meeting Your Heroes' is essentially about love, heartbreak and nostalgia. Which is far better. Featuring a collection of live favourites including 'Charlie's 18th Birthday'', 'Sweet Bedford' and 'FM2030', the story of a cryogenically-frozen ex-basketball player.

The Bumblebees are an indie pop trio from Bristol, consisting of Rosalind Glennie (vocals, keyboard), Ellis Jones (vocals, guitar) and Bert Clark (vocals, bass). They began in November 2007. Their debut EP was self-released in September 2008 and is available from their Myspace page.

Monica has made records with Belle and Sebastian, Chris Coco, and James Grant among others. She was the singer in the awesome Thrum and presently makes records with Johnny Smillie under her own name that are like no other records you'll hear. No attempt to pastiche other artists or be part of any scene, they are as unique as they are beautiful. More inspired by soundtracks than the history of pop with a voice that has been compared to Liz Fraser of the Cocteau Twins, Emmy Lou Harris, Mary Margaret O'Hara and Kate Bush.
