Man Ray Sky

The band is in the midst of writing material for an album as well as honing their live performances with which they hope to add a more visual element to their shows. The sound of Man Ray Sky live can be an intense affair, with melodic lullabies brushing up against experimental noise pieces; the two opposing but strangely complementary sides of Man Ray Sky.

the mojo fins

It was never going to end. How could it? You can't just switch off the need to write music. When The Mojo Fins vocalist and guitarist Jon Chandler was tragically killed in a road accident in May, 2007, there were many who wondered if the band could continue. Stephen (vocals/guitar), Steve (bass/keys) and Dave (drums) did not. They knew it had to: because music, like friendship, transcends death, and the dream that four school mates once swore they'd make a reality lives on.

Heels Catch Fire

Heels Catch Fire came about in the latter part of 2006 through an organic process of mutual friends and shared vision. Each member carrying an assortment of influences ranging from the pop perfection of the Shins, the intensity of Bjork to the Guitar wanderings of the Police and the Energy and power of At the Drive-in. They developed a furious and uncompromising mix of dual guitars, steeping bass riffs and staccato drum patterns which have led to a carefully-weighted mixture of pop awareness – straight-up choruses – hidden among the incongruous surroundings of spiky guitar-driven...
