Nasty Tendency

Nasty Tendency are a heavy metal band founded in Forlì, Italy, in 2007. Their sound is influenced both by 70’s and 80’s U.S. hard-rock groups (Riot, Twisted Sister, Lizzy Borden…) and European ones, such as Grim Reaper, Ozzy Osbourne and Warlock, but the band always manages to maintain its own style. Nasty Tendency consist of Nikky Nails (vocals), Luke Nasty Kidd (guitars and backing vocals), Johnny Curly (drums) and Maury Lyon (bass and backing vocals), the latter having joined the band few months ago and being crucial for the group’s ultimate line-up.

Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio

The Orchestra was founded in the summer of 2002 and in 2003 it toured Italy introducing its worldwide music and musicians to audiences. It is made up of folk, classical, pop, jazz and street artists.
Now after four years, the release of the new album Sona.
It is the conclusion of two years of work on the part of each musician: coming up with a way to play with others without betraying their individual style.

Stefano Bollani

Stefano Bollani is a jazz pianist born in Milan on December 5, 1972. He made his professional debut at fifteen and received his diploma in piano from the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence. He does classical music, contemporary jazz, Brazilian jazz, and pop rock.
Longlasting has been his collaboration (from 1996) with Enrico Rava: 12 records together, the last was Tati, ECM 2005, in trio with Paul Motian, battery.

Alexandra Carter

Born in Hitchin, Herts, Alexandra Carter grew up in North America and returned to the UK to finish school. Based in London, she now works as a freelance singer; engagements range from Opera roles for Lyric Coloratura Soprano to bookings for weddings and corporate events with Cafe Music, Jazz and Lounge with accordion, in "Tiramisù" and Jazz/Lounge with Piano in "Vintage." She started out busking in Toulouse, broke on her "year abroad," and just carried on; she is a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music & Trinity College of Music.

Sound Storm

Sound Storm was founded in 2002 in Turin, a city in the north west of Italy.The band started composing their own material, with the first three or four tracks finished by the end of 2003. In October of 2005 the band decided to record six original songs in their own private studio, which resulted in the release of the demo "The Storm Is Coming". In September 2006 Sound Storm entered again the recording studio to record the new Ep, "Northern Wilderness".

The Juliet Massacre is a band from Italy. The band was formed by aNTOMEGA (Vocals) and PeLLe (Drums) in april, 2006. Soon after they aquired GiuBBino (Bass), Losk (Guitars) and
. The band has influences from death metal, metalcore and deathcore to bring together the Italian strain of deathcore. They fuse together the deep growls with screams of the vocalist, the raging guitars with fluttering solos and the furious drums with breakdowns perfectly executed.

‘This Side Up’ ……. the Hip-Hop night that has been rocking various venues all over the badlands of Sligo. The night has gathered a devoted following since it began in 2008 and prides itself on providing the crowd with upfront music in a funky and friendly atmosphere. To kick things off Djs Noone and PC man the turntables dropping everything from OldSkool Hip-Hop and Funk to Reggae and Jazz. As the night gathers pace Shaool and Myster-E grab the microphone and raise the roof with intelligent hard hitting rhymes while original beats are dropped by Noone.

Giacinto Scelsi

Giacinto Scelsi, Count of Ayala Valva (January 8, 1905 – August 9, 1988), was an Italian composer. He is best known for writing music based on only one pitch, such as Quattro Pezzi Su Una Nota Sola ["Four pieces each on a single note"] (1959). He also wrote surrealist poetry in French. Born in La Spezia, Italy, Scelsi studied music first in Rome, and later in Vienna, with a disciple of Arnold Schönberg. Subsequently Scelsi became one of the first adepts of dodecaphony in Italy.
