Marian Call

Marian Call is a composer and singer currently living in Juneau, Alaska. Her self-produced debut album, Vanilla, is an eclectic yet internally cohesive collection of songs. Her compositions are half study & calculation, half improvisational instinct. Marian was born into a family of musicians and artists, and she was raised on a steady diet of Bach, Beethoven, and Joni Mitchell in her hometown of Gig Harbor, Washington.

Inspired by the blues, Susie Wilkins started writing songs at the tender age of 14, and debuted at the Hong Kong Fringe Club's Open Mic Night when only 16. Shawn Colvin

Shawn Colvin (born January 10, 1956 in Vermillion, South Dakota) is an American musician. Best known for her hit single "Sunny Came Home" from the album "A Few Small Repairs". Colvin's formative years were spent in the town of Carbondale, Illinois, where she attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She learned to play guitar at the age of 10. Her first public concert was at age 15 at the University of Illinois campus. Colvin cites Joni Mitchell as a primary influence on her music, and her initial performances closely mirrored Mitchell's inflections and guitar tunings.

Esther O'Connor

Young Scottish singer/songwriter Esther O’Connor, who signed her first record contract with music colossus EMI aged 17, is now writing and releasing music under her own steam. She runs her own record label, the aptly-named Redhead Records, with husband Tim O’Connor, who also accompanies her on stage with his guitar. Esther’s new album Right Here, despite not having the backing of a major label, has been causing a stir the length and breadth of the country.

Allison Weiss

Allison Weiss is an American guitar player and singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Weiss first picked up a guitar at age 14 in an attempt to become a punk rock star and impress her high school crush, and though the teenage romance died after one short month, her passion for music lived on. After moving to Athens, GA in 2005, Weiss spent the next five years in and out of various pseudo-relationships which fueled the fire for one infectious breakup song after another.

Kacey Musgraves

Nashville singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves, 23, recently completed recording her debut album in Nashville, TN and released her first single “Merry Go Round” to radio on September 10, 2012. The album was co-produced by Kacey, Shane McAnally and Luke Laird and was released on March 19, 2013. Kacey, a Texas native, began singing publicly at 8-years-old and wrote her first song at 9-years-old. To date, that talent has produced cuts for multi-platinum artists such as Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert.
