SHY OF THE DEPTH are a technical metal band based in Brighton, UK
Composing began in 2006 with guitarists Joe Grouse and James Davis concocting progressive riff after progressive riff, for drummer Chris Allan and vocalist Eddie B to lay down their styles to.
An accomplished bassist who could keep up with how the band were evolving was proving hard to come by, and so it wasnt until February 2008 when bassist Bunk joined that the band were truly and fully formed.

February 8 2007: The trashy nightclub had sold out hours before hand. The supports have been and gone. The lights were dim and there was a hum amongst the crowd. Friends had been talking about the first show for well over a year. The anticipation was swelling as people were jostling for position. When the first stomach-churning chord rung out there was no denying things would be different from that point on.

The Long Count

The Long Count began in late 2009, drawing initial inspiration from the likes of SiKth, Misery Signals and Born Of Osiris, creating an intricate, technical, and a definitely unique style. In early 2010 we released our first album “A World’s Collapse”, and are set to complete a 2nd within the year. Since then we’ve played with Deaf Havana, Young Guns, The Casino Brawl, Surfaces, Heart of a Coward, Visions, Heart In Hand, The More I See, amongst many others.

Gallows For Grace is a band from Perth, Australia. Formed in early 2006, Gallows for Grace is the creation of five like minded musicians aspiring to produce a new sound. Mangled

Mangled was formed in 1989, released two well received demos shortly thereafter ('Cadaverous' in '92 and 'Perish' in '93). In 1997 Wild Rags signed the band and went on to release Mangled's debut MCD 'In Emptiness.' In 1998 the band signed to Fadeless Records for the release of 'Ancient Times' which comprised all of their earlier material on CD format. 2000 marked a crucial turning point for Mangled as they signed to The Plague, a subsidiary of Hammerheart Records (now Karmageddon Media)...

There are three artists by this name. (1) Born in the spring of 2004, REDS brings together four individuals with disparate backgrounds in a way that both creates tension and finds harmony. Their individual roots are recognizable .. but find balance and unity within the songs... the songs fly along at furious speeds, rarely letting up, and never losing their intensity. The lyrics, mostly shouted and screamed but occasionally sung, strive to pointedly connect the personal and political - showing clear anger and frustration yet never letting go of positivity and optimism.
