Mutiny

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Mutiny is a band formed by Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey after he left Funkadelic when George Clinton's mothership splintered at the end of the 1970s.Jerome Brailey and Glen Goins were working on the concept of Mutiny when Glen's untimely death occured in 1978. Jerome Brailey continue on with the vision and formed the group Mutiny, which performed in a style which is similar to the classic P-Funk style with a lot of emphasis place on the dual lead guitar work.

The Outcasts

There appear to have been at least two groups called The Outcasts. For the Northern Irish punk band: Belfast, Ireland (1977 – present)
The Outcasts were formed in June 1977 in Belfast by the three Cowan brothers, Greg Cowan (vocals / bass), Martin Cowan (guitar/vocals), Colin Cowan (drums) and their friend Colin ‘Getty’ Getgoog (guitar), playing their first gig two months later. ‘You’re A Disease’ / ‘Don’t Want To Be No Adult’ / ‘Frustration’ (It, 1978) is easily the roughest sounding early Outcasts single, ‘You’re A Disease’ stands out as the best track.

Blood or Whiskey

Blood or Whiskey formed in Kildare (IE) in 1995 as an irish folk / punk crossover band, similar to The Pogues. Their first two albums were also heavily influenced by them. In 2003 lead singer Barney Murray left the band. Vocal duties were taken over by guitarist Dugs Mulhooly. Untill 2005 they underwent alot of line up changes, leaving Dugs and Chris (drums) as the only original member. In 2005 they released their third album "Cashed Out On Culture", which had more of a punk-edge than their former two.

The Currency

Born of a proud lineage of convicts, bushrangers, stowaways and scoundrels THE CURRENCY form a six-piece orchestra parading traditional folk instruments alongside a firecracker punk rhythm section. The band started off as 'Slainte' cutting their teeth on the Irish scene in London, England. They played the circuit for a few years with various friends and line ups until they finally settled on the one we see today. The band proved to be a popular one on the London Irish scene and were voted by the readers of The Irish World newspaper for the award of 'Best Band on London Circuit 2006'. The lads picked up the award in at a big ceremony in Feb and after their performance on the night were described as "a breath of fresh air for Irish music.

Momma's Slippers are a five piece punk/ska band from Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. Formed in March 06, the band have already released a 7 track demo called "Punk Chaos" and in the summer of 2008 the band released their debut 13 track album "Walking With The Zombies".
