There are several bands operating under the name Pest. One jazz/hip hop/electronic band (1). Four black metal bands (2,3,4,5), one post-rock band (6) one punk rock band (7) and one breaks/dubstep house collective spelled P.E.S.T (8) 1)Pest is a band from the UK, playing music with tinges of , and .
Current members are Matt Chandler (guitar), Benjamin Mallott (DJ / keys), Thomas Marriott (trombone) and Wayne Urquhart (cello), with all members contributing to the programming and production of the band's music.

Mixmaster Morris

Morris Gould the Mixmaster blossomed out of the London pirate-radio scene in the 80s. He began to take hold on the discipline creating a ONE TRICK PONY that did it all via loops beats and samples...culminating in audio soundscapes designed to induce dreamy hypnotic almost narcotic states for the listener. He started working as the Rhythm Method but in '85 adopted the Irresitible Force name when he began collaborating with Des De Moor.

Kumo

Kumo came into existence in 1994 when Jono Podmore began work at Watershed Studios, London, UK and with Plink Plonk records, founding 2 sister labels to Plink Plonk: Autoi and Psychomat. He began to play the Theremin, developing new techniques for live performance of electronic music.
After a string of singles and remixes as Kumo, March 1997 saw the release of his first album Kaminari to significant critical acclaim. A series of live dates and international DJ commitments followed, including the Essential Music Festival, the Sonar festival, and the Graz Biennale.

Komputer

Komputer is the project of two London-based synth-meisters: Simon Leonard and David Baker, releasing on Mute Records. The duo have been writing, mixing and producing together for over 25 years, formerly in I Start Counting & Fortran 5. Their new album is Synthetik. Their sound is rigorously electronic and their tracks deal with such diverse subjects as: Russian cosmonauts, rubbish compactors and mobile phone ringtones. Musical antecedents and influences include Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Syd Barrett and Brian Eno.
