Boards of Canada are an electronic music duo from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, formed in 1986 and comprised of brothers Mike Sandison (born 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (born 21 July 1971). Scant Intone is the solo project of Canadian artist Constantine Katsiris dedicated to experiments in modern audio. The output varies from stark minimalism to densely complex textures, incorporating elements of field recordings, shortwave radio, raw data and digital sound synthesis. Focused on researching psychoacoustics, waveform anomalies and various audio phenomena discovered while exploring the frequency spectrum, his compositions are excursions in abstract electronic music with influences including ambient, lowercase, microsound, noise, glitch and drone.

Arkells

The Floor
There are three bands by the name of the Floor. One is a band based in Dundee, Scotland. Another is from Edmonton, Alberta foursome The Floor released a series of LP's and EP's culminating with Personnel, an extension of the band's flirtation with noise rock like Ride and the dance rock of Interpol and bands of that ilk.
