Artist Type:

Batrider

Hard to describe rock and roll band from New Zealand, moved to Melbourne, Australia, and now hopefully on to bigger and better things in London, England. Their music is a quasi-grunge, at times droning, atonal mess of heavily distorted guitars with the occasional tender, almost fragile, near-acoustic sound making it through the turbulence. Contender for the least pretentious band on earth and a powerhouse live.

The Rabble

A three-piece punk band, based on the Hibiscus Coast of New Zealand, with heavy influences such as Rancid, The Unseen, Dropkick Murphys and The Casualties Formed by brothers Rupe and Chazz in the tedious summer of 2000 (aged 15 and 14) the 'aptly named' The Rabble wasted no time in getting out of the garage and onto the stage. Seven years and hundreds of live shows later, the band has undergone several line-up changes.
