Ahmad Jamal

Celebrated pianist-composer Ahmad Jamal continues his performance schedule around the world, as he has for well over the last four decades. Noted for his outstanding technical command and identifiable sound as a piano stylist, Mr. Jamal was born on July 2, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A child prodigy who began to play the piano at the age of three, he began formal studies at age seven. While in high school, he completed the equivalent of college master classes under the noted African-American concert singer and teacher Mary Cardwell Dawson and pianist James Miller.

Mike Tramp

Mike Tramp (Born Michael Trempenau January 14, 1961) is a Danish singer and songwriter who is best known for his work with the hard rock bands White Lion and Freak of Nature. He has released 14 albums, including seven solo albums. Micheal Trampenau was born in Denmark, and grew up in Vesterbro with his single mother and two brothers, Dennis and Kim. Mike started his musical career singing in a youth group club in Copenhagen called Vesterbro Ungdomsgård, and appears on their first album: Vi lever på Vesterbro (1974).

Sleepless

There has been more than one artist to use the name Sleepless. 1.Sleepless is a Dark Progressive Metal band from Israel, they released Winds Blow Higher in 2001 and now they are split-up. 2.Sleepless is from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2009. 3.A hungarian deathcore band from Székesfehérvár. 4.Sleepless were originally known under the German name Die Schlaflosen. Formed in 1982 when guitarist Arch Stanton met up with Singers Cloudia Wintermute & Lucretia, and bassist Roland Hammerl. They immediatly found they had an amazing chemistry together and improvasation was the key to their sound.

Persian Risk

Persian Risk was a Cardiff, Wales-based heavy metal band formed in 1979, originally consisting of guitarists Phil Campbell and Dave Bell, vocalist Jon Deverill, bassist Nick Hughes, and drummer Razz. In late 1980, Deverill was headhunted by the Tygers of Pan Tang and replaced by Carl Sentance, a former band mate of Hughes and Razz in Leading Star. New vocalist in place, Persian Risk issued the now highly collectible 'Calling For You' b/w 'Chase the Dragon' 7" in 1981 before sacking Dave Bell's replacement, Alex Lohfink, and soldiering on as a four-piece.
