Dawson were a Glasgow punk band in the 90's. Fast and dischordant punk mixed often with electronic drum beats in a reggae or african style at times. The Native Cats are a duo based in Hobart, Tasmania consisting of Julian Teakle (ex-Frustrations and Bad Luck Charms) on bass and Peter Escott on vocals. Both program backing music. The Native Cats frequently gig in Hobart and tour regularly to Melbourne. Escott's distinctive tenor and Teakle's punk credentials lend the band a musical distinctiveness that brought them to the attention of NME in March 2009 who singled them out as a band to keep an eye on.

Gymnastics or (later) Laka Gimnastika is originally from a small town of Ruma, in Srem region, province of Vojvodina, Serbia. Ruma, although a small town with about 30.000 inhabitants, was always a place with a strong underground scene that has it roots in the music and visual arts groups that existed in the late 70's and early 80's. During the 1990's there were numerous active indie and punk bands in Ruma, with quite a strong scene with regular concerts, several zines, radio shows, etc.
