Cancelled

As from now, Cancelled (CND) will rock the stage as Demia. It has been a difficult, but well thought through decision that the band had to make. Guitarist Daan says the following on this issue: "The name Cancelled started out as sort of a joke that was kind of catchy and also did result in a lot of recognition, but when we started playing abroad more and more it turned out that the obvious problems on posters, flyers and program leaflets were pretty serious".

The 10p Mixes

"The 10p Mixes are new Liverpool two-piece. They do pretty, pretty songs with a kick and a twist of sadness, sounding both childlike and wry within a single breath. They will play on in your head all week, and you'll love every minute." -- Pete Green Danielle and Will met over a shared love of Pulp in 2004, and became friends, then after a while started going out with each other. Both being musically inclined, they started playing music together (because you can't kiss all of the time).

The Bacchae

“A Dirty, skuzzy garage-rock band whose tracks sound like they were actually recorded in a shed in Detroit by Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs. ‘Man’ in particular makes us want to neck a bottle of JD, turn up the stereo and shake it like a Polaroid picture.”- NME “The Bacchae are doing something very dark and grubby up North and it is a good, good thing. It has attitude, gothic leanings, decadent ambition, literary pretensions and a very sexy sound.” –Mainstream Journal of Aesthetics "Creating an energy and vitality in their music to please the most ardent hedonist." - BBC Leeds

Death Masks

Formerly the vessel for one man's grief-pop canticles, Death Masks has now evolved into a 5-piece dreampop machine. Blending elements of late-80's shoegaze with playful pop melodies and expansive psychedelic breakdowns, they have garnered a reputation for fiercely loud performances around the North West of England. Their debut single 'Left A Message' was self-released in May 2012 and received airplay from Steve Lamacq and John Kennedy.
